Pleasant Ridge is not affiliated with any denomination. We are simply a body of believers that lives and operates by the Word of God and the example of the New Testament Church with no book but the Bible, no creed but Christ, and no name but the divine.

Pleasant Ridge endeavors to “earnestly contend for the faith that has once for all been delivered unto the saints” (Jude 3).

We therefore believe that the Bible is the perfect, inspired, inerrant Word of God (II Timothy 3:16-17, II Peter 1:19-21).

We joyfully worship, serve, and love the one and only Creator God (Genesis 1:1, Deutoronomy 6:4-5).

We praise Him for coming in the flesh as Jesus Christ to offer Himself on the cross, that through His precious blood our sins might be washed away (John 1:1-17, Phillippians 2:8-11, Hebrews 12:2, I Peter 1:18-19).

We give our lives to Him, for He triumphed over death and has offered the joys and wonders of eternal life in the glories of Heaven (Acts 2:24, I Corinthians 15:1-8, II Corinthians 5:1-8).

We believe that by no action of our own can we be saved (Ephesians 2:8-9).

Therefore, after one has believed, repented, and made the commitment to be a life-long follower of Christ, one must be immersed into Christ as they are immersed in water for the forgiveness of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit (Mark 16:16, John 3:5, Acts 2:38, Romans 6:3-4, Galatians 3:27, I Peter 3:21).

We pray that through our love and service, people will see the joy of having Jesus as Savior and Lord. To that end, we strive to have the strongest marriages with the most joyful families as we raise up new generations of life-long Christians and, through compassionate outreach, we lovingly serve our community.

We live for the day of the greatest family reunion in Heaven. Will you join us?
